🌐 Article 1 — Publisher of the website
The website fantasya.org and the Fantasya IRC chat network are published by a private individual (natural person), hereinafter referred to as "the Publisher".
Persons publishing non-professionally an online public communication service may make available to the public only the name, denomination or corporate name and address of the hosting provider, provided they have communicated to that provider the personal identification details referred to in I of the same article. Hosting providers are bound by professional secrecy, under the conditions laid down in Articles 226-13 and 226-14 of the Criminal Code, regarding disclosure of such personal identification details or any information enabling the person concerned to be identified. Such professional secrecy may not be invoked against the judicial authority.
Under this provision, the Publisher has chosen not to disclose personal contact details publicly. They have been communicated to the hosting provider, who is bound by professional secrecy towards the public but remains required to disclose them to any judicial authority that so requests.

In accordance with Article 1-1, I, 3° of the LCEN, the publication director is the Publisher of the website. Their identity is retained by the hosting provider under the conditions set out in Article 1-1, II of the LCEN.

The site is built with Astro, an open-source static site framework. The chat network uses the IRC (Internet Relay Chat) protocol, in particular the open-source IRC server InspIRCd, open-source services Anope, and the open-source web client Kiwi IRC.

All content on fantasya.org (text, graphics, logos, icons, images, etc.) is the exclusive property of the Publisher or used under licence, unless stated otherwise.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication or adaptation of all or part of these elements, by any means or process whatsoever, is prohibited without prior written permission from the Publisher, subject to legal action.

Processing of users' personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679) and French data protection law ("Informatique et Libertés").

↩️ Article 8 — Right of reply
In accordance with Article 1-1, III of Law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on Confidence in the Digital Economy (LCEN), any person named or designated in content published on fantasya.org has a right of reply.
Because the Publisher has retained anonymity in accordance with Article 1-1, II of the LCEN, the request must be addressed to the hosting provider (see Article 3), who will forward it without delay to the publication director.
The publication director must insert the reply within three days of receiving it, failing which a fine of €3,750 may apply, without prejudice to other penalties or damages relating to the disputed content.
⚖️ Article 9 — Applicable law
These legal notices are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
